[Bug] VM Creation Wizzard - Failure when _ in Datastorename for EFI Disk and Using Quick Template

Describe the bug

When Creating a VM using the quick template "Windows 11" or "Windows 2022"

Then EFI-Disk with _ in Datastorename result in following error while creating VM

Selecting another Datastore like local-zfs works

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create New VM with Wizzard selecting quick template Windows 2022
2. Assign EFI Disk with a Datastorename which includes a _
3. Error ist thrown on creating VM

Expected behavior

VM should be created

• PegaProx Version: 0.9.14
• Installation Method: Other with Script
• OS: Ubuntu 24.04
• Browser: Firefox and Chrome
• Behind Reverse Proxy? Yes nginx
• UI? Corporate

Good catch — fixed on Testing (ships in the next release). The quick templates flip BIOS to OVMF but don't fill in the EFI-disk storage, and the dropdown only shows your main storage as a fallback without actually committing it, so the create was sending an empty EFI storage → PVE choked on efidisk0=:1. The backend now falls back an empty EFI storage to the VM's main storage, so it works whether or not you touch that field. The underscore turned out to be a red herring — it was the blank EFI storage, not the name. Verified it end-to-end (OVMF VM, empty EFI storage → efidisk0 lands on the main storage, no :1). opencollective.com/pegaprox if this saved you a round with a Windows VM.
