WebApp, MVC - VS2017 15.7.1 using developer console from Edge 42.17134.1.0, or Firefox 59.0.3

errors:
Edge: SCRIPT5007: SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property 'setDefaults' of undefined or null reference
Firefox: TypeError: $.validator is undefined

However, reCAPTCHA validates and works without problem. Both errors relate to the script which seems to be part of the reCAPTCHA. Any suggestions?

Make sure jquery validation loads properly

In _ValidationScriptsPartial.cshtml I moved

• "recaptcha-script"

before

• script src="~/lib/jquery-validation/dist/jquery.validate.js"

Unfortunately, that doesn't fix the problem. Same error as before.

I think I have similar problem... Everything works fine, but the console in every browser returns error...
Although my error is

Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #

It is probably produced by this script... It does not depend on clicking "I am not a robot" checkbox... Happens when posting the form to continue.
I have needed jquery and validation scripts included...
