Summary
The Vectorize button appears to do nothing in v2.4.2. The issue occurs with different connections and a local embedding model, and another user reproduced it with OpenRouter.
Expected behavior
Selecting Vectorize should run embedding vectorization or display an actionable error when the configured provider cannot process the request.
Actual behavior
Clicking Vectorize produces no visible result or warning. An OpenRouter configuration with a potentially unfunded API key also did not display an insufficient-funds warning.
Steps to reproduce
- Configure an embedding connection or local embedding model.
- Attempt to start embedding vectorization using the Vectorize button.
- Observe that no visible action, result, or error message appears.
- Repeat with different connections or an OpenRouter API key.
