I advise to place directory in another directory.
This is particularly crucial when people from areas with limited bandwidth attempt to install Xee from source (e.g. Archlinux, Gentoo, Slackware, et cetera).
I am not an expert with git, so the following statement might be impossible.
It be better to remove all consequent logs of /xee/vendor/ if it be removed from this repository.
Alternatively, create a new repository of Xee, with only relevant files for expected operation.
