Dynamic Application (*) with OriginMapStore fails with 404 for HTTP-based protocols (LLHLS/HLS) #2064

When configuring an OME Edge server to use OriginMapStore (Redis) alongside a wildcard application template (<Name>*</Name>), the server fails to dynamically create applications for incoming HTTP requests (LLHLS/HLS).

The Edge server returns a 404 Not Found because the internal HTTP server does not register routes for applications that haven't been instantiated yet, even though the OriginMapStore is configured to handle them.

Environment

OME Version: 0.20.5
Role: Edge Server
Routing: OriginMapStore with Redis.

Steps to Reproduce

Configure Server.xml with a wildcard application:

Set up OriginMapStore to point to a Redis instance containing valid origin mapping.
Request an LLHLS stream via a new application name: GET /new_app/stream/llhls.m3u8.
The server returns 404 Not Found.

Observed Behavior

The logs indicate that the HTTP server rejects the request before the application logic can query Redis:

E [SPRtcSig-t3333:33] LLHLS Publisher | llhls_publisher.cpp:370  | Cannot find application (#default#new_app)
[Response] 404 Not Found

If the application name is explicitly defined (e.g., <Name>app</Name>), the request works perfectly.

Suggestion

If OriginMapStore is enabled within a VirtualHost, the HTTP server should ideally allow requests for any application path to reach the application manager, allowing the * template to be cloned based on the data found in Redis.

Can you show me your configuration of edge and origin. If i am not mistaken, you have to specify
the different port for publishers webrtc signalling and LLHLS if two enabled
