Feature Request: AES50 Channel Assignment and Routing

I like the WING assignment style screen, just thinking of ways to make it better. Could we have for things like the DL8 a way of seeing at a very quick glance where channels are coming from

Show the HUB4/HUB4Pro at the top of the list if in the chain.
I can moc up something I'm thinking of but make it really really visual for people to see where their things are coming from and going to.

Not sure how it would translate to the X32/M32 style shape screen but would work really well on an iPad / Laptop GUI.
I would like to vote for all units with touchscreens to get the same layout and functions so moving from one to the other is as little of a learning curve as possible.

This is sorta the idea, it doesn't work for OUTS as the stage boxes can pick what outputs they want to route to the XLRs on device.

But this is great to visually see which XLR port each item is coming from and maybe have a subscript AES1...48 number in the corner of each of the small numbered channel boxes.

Hub4 at the top in the header as it doesn't have any input sources, so it doesn't really work in a tree but is known that it's in the chain.

DL32 -> DL16 would be 1-32 then 1-16 with subscript 1-48.

Obviously drawing ideas from the WING but I thing this would work great on highres screens like a tablet and laptop.

I think a good work around for "non" touch X32/M32 would be to have the tablet/laptop interface as above and on x32 onty have the right section navigatable via rotaries, in the same way the select an ICON or NAME channel is on the X32 currently.
But have the way you select a channel be clicking the select button of the channel you want to assign. With a confimation click, like with the X32 1-16 Outs Routing.

This overall keeps numbering consistent on stage boxes, i.e. shouting please plug SM58 into DL16 Ch3, means when you look at the console you should see the number 3 as well instead of 11, even though it's coming down AES-A-Ch11 but to neither the guy patching the stage nor you behind the console does that matter after the inital chain has been made.

Also could then if something is added / bumped the desk can realise that and reassign channels based on the device they were in rather than the AES number the channel was associated with. i.e. Hub4 and DL8's if one DL8 is plugged into PoE Port 1, then it's AES 1-8, if DL16 is plugged in next to THRU it's AES 9-24, if annother DL8 is plugged into PoE Port 2, that then becomes 9-16, and the DL16 is bumped to 17-32. A little unhelpful if halfway through the setup you have patched then decide to add another DL8 to give you an extra 8 channels OR a DL8 is unplugged, this then ensures that your routing is maintained and consistent to channels.

Could do similar with output AES A & B but as the unit itself can select output channels I think the grid would just have to be 1-48 but show the list of connected devices.
