It would be great to add a simple vertical LED-style gain reduction meter in the Compressor and Gate sections, similar to the original console. It provides a very quick and intuitive indication of how much processing is occurring.
As a follow-up, the gain reduction state could also drive the dedicated Compressor and Gate LEDs in the channel strip on the console hardware.
