The idea
Between the flexible PCB and the main compute PCB there could be another solid PCB, there purpose of reducing ware on the flexible PCB.
On the middle PCB the multiplexer can be added to reduce the amount of wire going from it to the compute board
Why it matters
This should help with:
- reducing stress on the flexible PCB
- repairs
- allow for changes to the flexible PCBs pins
