Decision (Boss, 2026-06-20): The 6 "what we don't copy" items from ECC battle card §6 are approved as policy. No-fly list, not suggestions.

The 6 Items

1. No weekly shipping without review gates
2. No conflating operator tooling with production platform
3. No harness-specific shortcuts that break ACP
4. No security-warnings-as-marketing without Themis backing
5. No single-maintainer bus factor
6. No OSS-only support model

Required Surface Updates

• Scribe (📜): thread as a "What We Won't Do" section in the ECC positioning ADR-0033

Why It Matters

Discipline delta > feature delta in positioning. ECC's velocity is impressive; our moat is governance + review gates + bus-factor distributed work. The 6 items encode that delta as a positive assertion of what we ARE — not just what we don't do.

• Purpose — canonical source of truth for the 6 items
• Surface enforcement — 3-layer table cross-linking the surfaces
• The 6 items — verbatim from ADR-0033 §3, with rationale per item
• Update procedure — adding/removing items requires Boss approval + ADR update; PM maintains canonical
• Cross-references — ADR-0033, ECC battle card, SOUL.md

Notable choices

• Doc references ADR-0033, not duplicate. The canonical doc points to ADR §3 for the strategic rationale; the doc itself is the authoritative spec. No content drift.
• Update procedure is binding. Adding/removing items requires Boss approval + ADR update, not unilateral agent action. This prevents drift.
• Cross-link to SOUL.md so Argus's checklist version stays findable.
• Compliance with AGENTS.md doc conventions. No new tooling, no API surface, pure docs.
