I'm using spotify-launcher on Arch and i got the same error with you. This repo works perfect for me. You can try it.

Your alternate repo worked on arch linux and same issue as above

Doesn't work on arch for me. Managed to patch fine but when launching spotify it just reverts to Spotify Free.
