1. The prop description of isChecked prop is

Indicates if the checkbox is checked initially.

Which is correct in my understanding.

2. The value prop is used in checkboxes with same name to distinguish their usecase.

the isCheckd prop is used for managing the state of checkbox sa a controlled component.

However in the docs it is stated as this is the initial value at the time of mount but not the current value.

• isChecked prop actually controls the checked state of the checkbox. The description does seem a little misleading as we use controlled checkbox here. But it does not say the initial value at the time of mount but not the current value...
• please read about value prop of input elements (especially in context of checkboxes and radio) here: https://www.w3schools.com/jsref/prop_checkbox_value.asp. As @cybersaksham mentioned, value prop is useful when you have different checkbox for the same field (multi select)
