Can CONICS be used with 3'- tag sequencing methods ?

Hello, thank you for developing this package.

I would like to use CONICS in my project but I was faced with the question Can CONICS be used on data generated from a 3'- tag sequencing protocol like Chromium from 10x Genomics? are there any differences regarding the results between data generated from a whole length RNA sequencing protocol and 3'- tag sequencing protocol?

I would appreciate any help
