We sometimes get HPXML files where there are multiple identical HVAC systems (though they may differ in terms of, e.g., capacity and load served). Similar to what we do for enclosure surfaces, we could collapse them into the minimum number of unique systems in order to speed up the simulations. This would involve checking if a given HVAC system (and its attached distribution system) is identical to another HVAC system for most of the properties, and if so, remove the duplicate object and aggregate values for properties like capacity and load served.
