restructure this repo to have images and large datasets elsewhere?

As @gdepiper points out, this repo is getting really large and difficult to clone.

I have contributed to bulk in the EDAB_images folder myself, and there may be duplicate datasets in multiple folders for different presentations. There is definitely duplication of images in the presentation subfolders (used for local presentation knitting/viewing) and in the EDAB_images folder on docs (necessary for web viewing).

This worked when we had a few presentations, but it may be time to consider a more streamlined restructure? I don't know if this is a seaside chat topic or just something a few of us need to investigate.

Current streamlining:

Try to include figures directly from the internet where possible, without saving anything to the repo:

If we must add a figure to the repo, add only to the docs/EDAB_images folder, push to the presentations repo, and bring it in from there in the presentation. Include it from https://github.com/NOAA-EDAB/presentations/raw/master/docs/EDAB_images instead of a local copy of EDAB_images:
