Project: Ransomware-PoC

**Overview:**
This project is a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) for ransomware behavior, intended for educational, research, or demonstration purposes only. It simulates the discovery, encryption, and modification of files, and includes both command-line and graphical user interface (GUI) components. The project is not intended for malicious use.

**Directory Structure:**

- `bin/`: Contains compiled binaries for different versions and platforms.
  - `main/`: Original version binaries (`main`, `main_macos_py2`, `main.exe`).
  - `main_v2/`: Updated version binaries (`main_v2`, `main_v2_macos_py2`, `main_v2.exe`).
  - `main_v2_oneclick/`: One-click version binaries for encrypting only common folders.
- `demo/`: Demo assets such as GIFs and images for showcasing the tool.
- `discover.py`: Script for discovering files to target.
- `gui.py`: Script for the graphical user interface.
- `main.py`: Main script for the original PoC.
- `main_v2.py`: Main script for the updated PoC version.
