L2 Native Architecture + State Channels + Anti-Scalping + Analytics Dashboard #83

Description

@Mosss-OS

Summary

Paxr is a decentralized event ticketing marketplace on Arbitrum Orbit. The architecture can be optimized for the L2 environment.

Recommended Changes

1. Layer-2 Native Architecture

  • Leverage Arbitrum Orbit's native features:
    • Low-cost transactions for high-volume ticket minting
    • Custom gas token for marketplace fee abstraction
    • AnyTrust mode for data availability vs. cost tradeoff

2. State Channels for High-Volume Events

  • For events with 1000+ tickets, implement state channels:
    • Minting happens off-chain, settled in batches
    • Reduces L2 gas costs by 10-100x
    • Implement challenge period for dispute resolution

3. Anti-Scalping Mechanisms

  • Implement on-chain identity (gitcoin passport or similar) for verified attendees
  • Add ticket transfer cooldown periods
  • Implement price floors for secondary market resales
  • Royalty enforcement via ERC-2981 (already in tech stack pattern)

4. Event Discovery & Indexing

  • Add off-chain indexer for event discovery (The Graph or custom)
  • Implement full-text search for events (location, date, category)
  • Add calendar integration (ICS export, Google Calendar API)

5. Analytics Dashboard

  • Event organizers dashboard with:
    • Ticket sales velocity, attendance rate, revenue charts
    • Demographic breakdown of attendees
    • Secondary market activity monitoring

6. Testing & Quality

  • Foundry fuzz testing for smart contracts
  • E2E tests for: create event → mint ticket → transfer → resell → check-in
  • Load testing for high-volume ticket drops
