Help accessing externally

I'm trying to access my stream from outside my network but running into problems. I've created an ini file and changed the http port to 8082 which it accepts. I have set port forwarding on my router for that port to my PC.
Internally in VLC I can use my PC's IP address (rtmp://INTERNAL_IPADDRESS) and view the stream fine, externally if I use http://EXTERNAL_IPADDRESS:8082 or RTMP://EXTERNAL_IPADDRESS:8082 or RTMP://EXTERNAL_IPADDRESS then it fails, please can someone advise?

This is on Windows if that makes any difference BTW

Hi,

Check your firewall parameters and your port forwarding configuration. There is no other reason for this configuration to not work.

You can run Mona with full log (--log=8 --dump) to see if there is something coming.

Note: Also please try the latest MonaServer2 binary from here , it includes new features (hevc, recording, playing from a file or a socket...) and it has the latest implementation of all protocols.
