On Firefox & IE works only on page-load, but not on text-change

Hallo, first of all thank you for this directive. This seems to work nicely on Chrome. Also on IE and Firefox works good on page-load, but when the text is changed (short text -> long text with ...), it does not work. But again in this case when you refresh your page (F5 - new page load with longer text), it works and shows me the content with ... again.
Could you please check it?

I have changed the content of your function "linkDirective" like this:

      scope.$watch(function() { return element.text(); }, function() {
        clamp(element[0], { clamp: attrs.clamp });

        // to provide better readability, we set the element's title attribute with the (unclamped) innerText in case it doesn't have a title anyway
        element.attr("title", element.text().trim());
      });

Now it also updates the logic everytime text changes on IE & firefox.

I'm glad you found a fix.
Keep in mind though, that this $watch function will run on every digest cycle, which eventually may result in a performance hit once you have many elements with changing texts, like a long list...
