I am no designer nor a coder, but I was messing around on figma for fun. made a movie page layout inspired my many apps maybe this can be of use. trying the home page and TV page as I figure out more about figma.

The only thing that i would add from this screenshot to the current UI is the info of resolution (4K / 1080p), and the supported HDR system (DV / HDR10). 
This will give me the info on a glance, so i know if DV/HDR10 did not trigger right (if it happens again), for now it works like a charm. |
you know that this is the current layout with a smaller poster, just pushed to the bottom right ? my only issue with it that the first scroll down would lag so hard it will make the app feel extremely slow, these TVs struggle so bad to scroll vertically, that is why almost everything is vertically close, and focused to top to minimize scrolls |

Maybe a "skin" menu as an option would make everyone happy? And maybe every now-and-there if someone comes with a sweet design for the UI, we could have multi-skin (UI) support in LiteFin. |

It was inspired by many apps including the current litefin version and I am aware how slow my TV is. in the current litefin version the movie page uses title twice, once as plain text and another the logo on the corner, this removes the plain text replacing it with logo and reducing all the tags below to just one line maybe adding a button for more at the side would do. currently some movies have like a million tags. Ofc as a developer you would know more about how layouts can be managed so that they don't drag the old tvs down if this layout would not work. Its just a suggestion for consideration. |
The logo/title could be made into a selectable option, the genres will have a focus issue, you have to think of Tizen when thinking navigation here, we don't have a cursor, can only use D-pad. Putting the genres up there will cause confusion + weird focus issues, but i am with that it would look nicer |

I can see how challenging it is to build for these os. My TV has a magic remote that can get a cursor but that thing feels worse than the D-pad. I don't really have a problem with the current layout its just for a casual view the movie page is filled with info which hides the artwork 
maybe a toggle option to hide the studio and tags row. some movies and shows have really beautiful backdrops. it would be nice if we can give them more space.

@MoazSalem I gave the build a try, loving the customizable options so far, the text only or icon only or both and the ability to pick which details to show. but there seems to be a bug the side panel won't hide and is stuck. |

that is not normal i tried it almost on every platform and none of them have sticking sidebar ? |

I love the current UI, in the OLED theme, its so simple and beautiful...

I have been a massive fan of the fast and snappy design and have seen the layout change over time. If you ever plan to update the UI in future can we suggest layout designs for considerations? thanks for the amazing app so far.
