I tried running gpu_burn and then periodically queried the throttle reasons using nvidia-smi -q PERFORMANCE. For the gpu-burn by wili, I get roughly 70% throttling because of hitting the software power threshold all the way down to 758 MHz, while this gpu-burn only gets throttled roughly 50% of the time and only down to 810 MHz. The highest clock rate without any throttling is 692 MHz for the wili version and 745 MHz for this version. This indicates a generally lower power consumption for this gpu-burn i.e. it doesn't burn as good.
