Description
When creating a new file and selecting "Python" as the file type in Visual Studio Code, IntelliCode support fails to activate. The following error message is displayed:

"Sorry, something went wrong activating IntelliCode support for Python. Please check the 'Python' and 'VS IntelliCode' output windows for details."

This issue prevents IntelliCode features such as AI-assisted code completions from functioning properly.
