Document editor is not in sync; misses typed characters

Text boxes in general is wonky and the document editor doesn't seem to keep in sync.

I can't recreate this, the only problem adjacent to this is that when multiple people are typing, some user's characters are deleted or readded. That, however, requires the updating of the json to be specific character additions/deletions instead of total document copy-paste.

it may be how prod is setup. reverse proxy to the app server to redis to the database. you may need to talk to jacob on simplifying the deployment. it may be a problem with the software expecting to talk locally not knowing how to handle the load balancer proxy or app server to redis or redis to the database that is on a separate server. @jldroid19 @juan-rivera-2020
