Would it be possible to run an FTP server on the MCU? To access and manage the contents of the SD-Card? Or is it too heavy for the MCU?

It would be handy to manage the contents for the NanoMig wireless via Mobile Phone and Tablet!

Give it a try ... we are probably all too busy with other parts of the project. But we are sure open for any contribution. You'd need a way to setup the network through the OSD. Once that's working you can actually do all sorts of fun things like using ntp as a real time clock for the core etc ...

If that really works I'd be tempted to remove the wifi related part from the current serial wifi interface. Wifi would then always be setup through the osd.

It's just a nice idea i had after downloading lots of demos from Pouet and tools from Aminet. Im glad you like it!

Right now im learning to do simple things in verilog. I know a little Aztec C from the Amiga, but on a very basic level...

Configuring the Wifi in the OSD would be perfect! The data would be written to a config file i guess?

There are SLIP and PLIP drivers readily available for the Amiga. Serial is very slow (1 kib/s) but parallel is better (15-20 kib/s).
How fast is the serial interface of the FPGA-Companion?
Maybe i will try to connect the serial driver in a first attempt...
A serial to parallel-port logic then would be better!
