Tag v1.4.18 compilation failed

Compiling tag v1.4.18 on windows with SDK release 2.3.16 (+Till commit ad2a37) failed with:
[100%] Linking C executable build_out\fpga_companion_bl616.elf
During IPA pass: materialize-all-clones
lto1.exe: internal compiler error: original not compressed with zstd.

@darfpga exactly that i also faced some while ago. Guess you are using Windows isn't it ?

To me it look that only the Linux build chain is working and continously further developed. I am using both Ubuntu and Fedora and build is fine.
Present Companion only supports SDK Version 2.3.17 only (i need to fix WIFI imports for latest SDK...)

@darfpga today i fixed the companion build and it needs now latest SDK 2.3.19

@vossstef : thank you very much, I will give it a try today. For your information, meanwhile I succeeded compilation with WSL. Anyway I prefer to come back to windows since other tools are available.

@vossstef : v1.4.19 with SDK 2.3.19 failed to compile on Windows. Same error message about lto1.exe as before.
