Symbol’s value as variable is void: key-leap-evil-motion

Been getting this when loading key-leap on emacs 28.2.

When callling use-package that has ensure t in its config, it will work once installed (but a lot of warnings about docstrings), but restarting emacs will then cause this error to appear. Key-leap will not work after this.

It seems like I cannot get away with the hack I did way back to provide integration with evil. The key-leap-create-evil-motion function assumes that there are a bunch of evil-specific variables in scope already, and the byte compiler does not like that.

I think the best way forward is

• Deprecate the key-leap-create-evil-motion function
• Create a key-leap-evil or perhaps evil-key-leap package that properly states its dependencies on evil and key-leap, allowing it to require the vars line from evil-types, evil-define-motion from evil-macros and evil-motion-state-map from evil-states. Provide this package on melpa. See Move evil integration to its own package #16

A workaround for this is to remove any call to key-leap-create-evil-motion from ones emacs config. This will disable evil integration, but you could use evil visual state before leaping if you want to do something on a block of text, until a separate evil integration package has been published.
