Can't enter password / editing config doesn't help

Hi there!

Small issue, I've extracted files onto my computer, and I can enter my account name in VR but nothing happens when I click the password field.

I edited SteamVR-Spotify.exe (VSC file) and tried it that way, but nothing changed.
Removed all files and tried again starting with config file before putting the app in steamvr, same thing. I get prompted for username and password.

I noticed that after I click on the password field, if I move to steamvr settings (in VR) I can't select anything. If I click on the account name field again, I can.

I've also tried editing the VShost file as well, nothing changed.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious!!

Hey, the file you need to edit is the SteamVR-Spotify.exe.config. After entering you credentials, restart SteamVR and you should be fine.
Entering the password via virtual keyboard is unfortunately not supported yet.

So I had another go at this.

Removed all files - extracted all files again and put the username and password in SteamVR-Spotify.exe.config. Ran the exe, restarted steamVR.

I still get the same issue. When I click on Spotify in the VR system menu it brings up a white browser page with the log in prompts.

I thought it was maybe the inclusion/exclusion of [ and ] in the config but I tried it both ways with the same result.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a chance, that Spotify changed something. Since the session is saved, it has been a long time, since I have last seen the login screen. I am going to check it out, when I have time.

Indeed Spotify changed their login page. I will try to release a fix soon.

Any update on when this might be fixed? I have encountered the same problem after I had to reformat my PC. I love this app so much, I'm sad I can't use it anymore :(
