Mantle UI is an independent, community-maintained open-source project.
Financial support helps us maintain the project and cover costs such as:
- Domain and website infrastructure
- Documentation hosting
- Continuous integration services
- Development and maintenance work
- Community contributor rewards and funded tasks
Organizations and individuals can support Mantle UI through:
Mantle UI is fiscally hosted by the Open Source Collective.
Project funds are used exclusively for expenses that benefit Mantle UI and its community.
Examples include:
- Infrastructure costs
- Maintenance work
- Bug fixes and improvements
- Accessibility work
- Documentation improvements
- Contributor payments for approved work
- Community initiatives and funded tasks
Sponsors may propose funding for specific improvements, features, or maintenance tasks.
Sponsored work:
- remains open source
- follows the same technical and review standards as other contributions
- must be discussed and approved by the maintainers before work begins
- does not automatically guarantee implementation, acceptance, or a delivery date
- does not give sponsors control over the roadmap, governance, licensing, or technical direction
Any binding scope, milestones, deadlines, or deliverables must be agreed separately in writing.
We aim to keep project funding transparent and use funds only for the benefit of Mantle UI and its community.
Contributions and expenses are managed through Open Collective and are subject to the policies and approval processes of our Fiscal Host.
