Installer crashing on initialization in Linux/Steam Deck

Trying to install the patch using Linux through Proton. The installer crashes after the language selection. The installer is outputting a log file.

I have the file advapi32.dll under System32, so I can't see what's wrong.

Someone else was having this issue because they updated something related to proton/wine, not sure where it was maybe on the discord server. Not much I can do about it really, it seems like a regression in proton/wine since everything works fine in an older version.

Oh, I understand. Could you say in what version it worked?

I don't know, you'd have to ask the other person I mentioned. Your best bet is the discord server like I mentioned.

On winlator problems are too with start installing and freeze hf patch
