Hi,
I am trying to get my old hot tub integrated into my Home Assistant instance to better utilize solar power to heat up and run the filtration cycles. My goal is to raise the temps up during the day and slowly drop them down late at night after we'd already use the tub. I'm pretty tech savy but this is not in my comfort range so I'm double checking here to see if I understand correctly.
Here's what I've bought:
ESP32 Dev board w/ this pinout: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61afDc5iOYL._AC_SL1001_.jpg
DC - DC Buck Converter which is set to output 5V
Logic Level Converter 5V to 3.3V
Here is my current set up that I'm hoping to try:
Patch cable from J1 to splitter > 1 splitter to topside control
> 1 splitter to breakout board > Buck Converter > Logic Level Converter > esp32
I think all I'm missing is which GPIO to use after the I pass the rj45 through the logic level converter.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
