Apple Home Energy in iOS 27 and tvOS 27.

As always make sure that all Apple devices on the network have the latest version 27.

The Energy system is composed of these four elements:

Home - Energy - Power

This is the Power measure of all Matter nodes in the Home.

Room - Power

This is the Power measure of all Matter nodes in the Room.

Room - Power - List

This is the list of Matter nodes that contribute to the measurements in the room. It only includes non bridged accessories.

Device - Power

This is the Power measure of a single Matter node.

Issues

Root Node Power Source condition

When the root node has a Power Source cluster (mandatory for Matter specs when the node has specific device types) the whole Energy system disappers.

Single Device type

The measurement only shows up in the tile when the device type is an outlet. The measurements are still counted even if they don't show up.

Power list

It only shows the non bridged accessories. The bridged accessories are still counted in the sum.

Existing nodes before the upgrade to iOS 27

The existing accessories don't show power measurements. You need to recreate them.

Generic measurements

Every measurements not connected to a single device (like a shelly EM) have no place to be shown but they count for the Home - Room total.
