Currently there's a white checkbox that appears on hover or when any manga is selected. I think an improvement might be to use the 3 dots at the top right of the card instead. This could also make room to put other manga related actions if needed.
I haven't fully thought out this interaction yet though.
Maybe clicking into the 3 dots will have
- move to category
- .........
- select multiple manga
- .........
- remove manga
And clicking select multiple will show checkboxes on all manga.
This also opens up some extra actions for catalogue manga. You could add an "Add manga" or "Remove manga" action here.
