plugman.nvim

ABOUT

A minimal wrapper around nvim builtin plugin-manager vim.pack. Made to make it more convenient to use, and is inspired by the design of lazy.nvim

SETUP

in init.lua setup before you can use it.

-- init.lua

-- first and only time you need to `vim.pack.add` directly
vim.pack.add { 'https://github.com/LibereCode/plugman.nvim' }

require('plugman').setup { }
-- require('plugman').setup { packadd_opts = { ... } } -- OPTIONAL alternative

Then you can start adding plugins

-- init_or_whereever_else.lua

local gh = "https://github.com"
require('plugman').add(
    { host = gh, owner = "LibereCode", repo = "toggleTerm.nvim", name = "toggleTerm" },
    {
        -- This is the table that is put in require('plugin').setup(<TABLE>)
        -- or for lazy.nvim users: what would've been `opts` value
    },
    -- NOTE: OPTIONAL
    function()
        -- stuff that will be loaded after the plugins' setups
    end,
)

TODO

  • Auto delete unused plugins (or with some clean command?)
  • Make the src part in add() more convenient.
