Speech from the remote machine crackles

I'm running NVDA version alpha-57360,6864af60 AMD64) and 2.0 of this add-on.

Remote speech is connected, and I'm pretty sure that I'm not hearing speech via the normal RDP sound transmission since it responds instantly.

However, the speech from the remote machine crackles and I can't seem to figure out why, its something I can reproduce even after restarting my controlling machine.

Thanks for your report. What speech synthesizer are you using on the client machine? What happens if you switch synth locally?

The Eloquence64 add-on. Although the same issue seems to happen with ESpeak. If I switch to OneCore, it seems to be fine but that could be because its speech rate isn't high enough to trigger the issue.

Interesting. What speech rate are you using with ESpeak? I have no idea how to reproduce this honestly.
