Bundle existing services into single subscription

There is no method to add a VM to existing subscription. Which makes the entire point of subscriptions moot.

Its not finished yet, the next phase is to hookup the UI to the new order flow (basket) with subscriptions, so you can create a basket of products together into a single subscription

Sorry but I still don't get it. Why add products to a subscription? The way we use pay-as-you-go cloud-providers these days (e.g. BitLaunch) is: you add funds (top-up) an account, and then you create VMs or stop VMs and then you get charged by per-hour (or minute, not sure the granularity) of VM use. This way you don't need to add or remove products that might expire or not from a subscription, you just add them, and you get charged by how long you use them until you destroy them (this way you don't need to specify how long you're going to use a product).

That's not a subscription model, that's an account credit model, completely unrelated to the subscription payment change.
