Code of Conduct

Our pledge

We want this to be a calm, useful, and welcoming project. Everyone interacting with it — opening issues, submitting field notes, reviewing pull requests — is expected to be respectful and constructive.

Our standards

Examples of behavior that helps:

  • Being kind and assuming good faith.
  • Keeping feedback specific, technical, and about the work.
  • Respecting that contributors share incidents to help others, often anonymously.

Examples of behavior that isn't welcome:

  • Harassment, insults, or personal attacks.
  • Publishing someone's private information, or de-anonymizing a contributed incident.
  • Sustained disruption of discussions or reviews.

Scope

This applies in all project spaces — issues, pull requests, and any other project communication — and when representing the project in public.

Enforcement

If you see or experience unacceptable behavior, please open an issue or contact the maintainer privately. Reports are handled discreetly. Maintainers may edit, remove, or reject contributions and comments that don't follow this code, and may block repeated or serious offenders.

This Code of Conduct is adapted from the spirit of the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
