FEATURE REQUEST: snap points/nodes (wasnt sure where else to do this)

like we have in the VAB and SPH for normal parts, can we get an optional snap point system for statics packs, im working on some asset for one right now and its the M.I.L.K system (Modular InterLocking Kolonies) (no mod pages yet as im just modeling right now and plan to retexture with stock and the aid of someone more skilled in blender)
and thus having snap points for once the satics are in game would really help add to the satisfying nature of this statics pack being a modular grid system for offworld colonies

im sad this seemingly hasnt been even viewed by anyone yet, i know its certainly a more complex feature to ask for, but man would it make the newly released kerbal colonies way more fun, at least for me once i finish this static pack.

as an update to this, ive revived my interest in making the statics pack, regardless of weather this gets implemented or not, even if its more dificult ill make my own set of colonies for each planet by hand getting the alignment right and make 2 versions of the mod, one with predone colonies for those who dont wanna mess around with getting it perfect, and one for those who do and/or this idea gets implemented, in any case, enjoy this render of what could be as motivation :p
