What does object_R_offset mean?

I was wondering what 'object_R_offer' mean in HOI-M3 dataset. The hodone_json2obj.py file seems to only consider data from NeuralDome, so I was wondering if the object preprocessing process is different in HOI-M3 dataset

Hi, thanks for your question!

"object_R_offset" actually refers to a small offset between the IMU data and the object template’s coordinate frame. This term was originally used during internal alignment checks, but we forgot to clean it up — feel free to ignore it.

Regarding the json2obj function for the HOI-M3 dataset, it’s indeed currently tailored for the NeuralDome subset. I’ll work on updating the script to support the full M3 dataset soon.
