When adding shortcut to ulauncher an error is thrown stating: "There's an error in versions.json:
Commit/branch "master" does not exist or could not be retrieved."

Sorry, I try to install the extension on 2025, September 4th and I got the same message

I hit the same issue. I managed to work around it by forking this repo, then in the fork creating a master branch off of main and then added the extension to uLauncher using the URL of the fork (https://github.com/mlwelles/Ulauncher-quickfind)

You can add it from that URL if you don't want to wait until the issue is resolved to install.

Honestly, seems like it's really a bug in uLauncher for hardcoding branch 'master' instead of using the default branch set for the extension repo.

Yeah, here because of the same issue. Anyways, thanks to @mlwelles , using their version now.
