Add Emojis in Export

Idea

Improve emoji handling in exported chats.

Why

Chats often contain emojis, and they should be represented consistently and readably in the generated exports.

Possible approaches

1. Convert shortcodes to Unicode emojis

Example: :smiling_face_with_hearts: -> 🥰

This would be the simplest first step. The TECH report could keep the original text/shortcodes, while the normal PDF tries to render real emojis.

Problem: replacing the text is not enough. The PDF font also needs to support the emoji. Otherwise the emoji may appear as a missing glyph, box, or inconsistent symbol depending on the viewer/system.

2. Embed an emoji-capable font

The normal PDF could use an additional font for emoji characters.

Problem: mixed text becomes more complex. A message can contain normal text and emojis in the same line, so the renderer may need to split text into normal font parts and emoji font parts. Color emoji fonts are also not always supported reliably in PDF rendering.

3. Render emojis as inline images

Emojis could be rendered as small image assets inside the normal PDF.

Problem: this gives the best visual consistency, but is more complex. Text wrapping, line height, copy/paste behavior, PDF size, asset packaging, and licensing need to be considered.

4. Keep shortcodes as fallback

If an emoji cannot be rendered safely, the exporter should keep or fall back to the shortcode.

Problem: this is less visually accurate, but avoids losing meaning and keeps the export readable.

Notes

The TECH report should probably remain plain text for traceability.

The normal PDF can prioritize readability and visual similarity to the original chat, but emoji rendering should not corrupt or hide message content. A staged implementation may make sense: first try shortcode-to-Unicode conversion, then evaluate font or image-based rendering later.
