Currently, we have to use Intel XTU or ThrottleStop for undervolting Intel CPUs with V/F curve (same as AMD Curve Optimizer). Intel CPUs support this from 10th gen onward.
- Intel XTU can only push voltages up (for my laptop, 13900HX)
- ThrottleStop needs VBS off to work (doesn't use PawnIO)
Describe the solution you'd like
Introduce V/F curve adjustments for Intel CPUs. For 12th gen and up, that's P Core and P Cache.
E cores and E cache tweaks are not that important and I believe (but not sure) they do not have the same level of V/F point tweaking capability in MSR.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Alternative is already present - Intel FIVR Adjustments. But those come with a devastating caveat - lowering all the voltages makes the CPU error out much earlier since the lowest ones have a significantly lower ceiling for undervolting. Optimal curve adjustments aren't blanket ones.
Additional context
UXTU already is already 90% of the way there - it only needs the controls for V/F point/curve adjustment on supported Intel CPUs.
