abstract: >-
An open benchmark toolkit for detecting engineered biosignatures in remote
hyperspectral imagery, with calibrated uncertainty. It includes a
physics-based simulator, implanted-target benchmarks on real airborne
backgrounds, classical baselines and learned models. In the completed
detection experiments, no learned method robustly outperforms a
well-calibrated spatial matched filter. Evaluation on physically measured
bioHSI targets is paused pending recovery of the manual Figure 4g
coordinates. Developed under the Experiment Foundation Hyperspectral Biology
grant.
