Default fonts should be styled correctly

Before the remote fonts are loaded and rendered, the text on the front page is rendered using whatever the fallback is in CSS. This fallback should be updated to be as close as reasonably possible to the final rendered remote fonts.

Reason: the switch from local to remote fonts is very apparent. Local fonts are also oversized and break the layout.
