GCAM 8.2 is awesome!

each year i update my gcam to prep for my annual gcam training course i teach at KAIST.

this never happened to me before. i just cloned fresh GCAM 8.2 and load all and drake, and voila! it just ran without any package errors! i don't know who did what (who am i kidding, obviously who=pralit && what = magicc), but THANK YOU!

Unlike v8.2, v8.8 took a little more effort, but I made it work!

I initially downloaded the GCAM v8.8 tar.gz from the GitHub tags and cloned the latest Hector repository separately. This caused a runtime error:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'h_exception' what(): Could not parse var: volscl - Unknown variable name while parsing temperature: volscl

The issue was a version mismatch between Hector and GCAM. Switching to git clone --branch gcam-v8.8 and pulling Hector via git submodule resolved the problem, and the model ran successfully after that.
