Highlighting Paragraph with mouse is essentially permanent - UI/Feature Workflow Issue #3

Issue at hand: For some reason, after selecting text with your mouse, the text may stay permanently highlighted.

What it could be: The issue could be that the highlighting feature may preemptively be highlighting the text, even though highlighting is a separate feature with it's own button.

I suggest we figure out all these implementation of highlights and remove them while keeping the single highlight in places it must be.
