I am currently using the GLPI Badge plugin, and I’ve encountered a limitation regarding data customization.
At the moment, it seems that it is not possible to create additional custom fields within the plugin (e.g., to store extra information related to badges or users).
🔍 Expected Behavior
It would be very useful to have the ability to:
- Add custom fields (text, dropdown, date, etc.)
- Associate these fields with badges or related objects
- Use them for internal processes (e.g., access control, internal IDs, metadata)
⚠️ Current Limitation
No option to create or manage additional fields
📌 Use Case
In our environment, we need to store additional structured information linked to badges, which is currently not possible without modifying the plugin code directly.
✅ Suggested Enhancement
Add support for custom fields configuration
Or allow integration with existing GLPI field extension mechanisms (like Fields plugin)
