Logging in with browser makes me log in over and over again and never completes

When I first installed this, I was able to log in just fine. After logging out and logging in again, it now forever goes through this process:

1. Click log in
2. sign in with browser
3. both browser window and figma window close
4. figma window opens with "log in" button
5. I never log in.

Is there some kinda file somewhere I need to delete to really make this start fresh? I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and deleting all the config and other files I could find.

Is there a comprehensive list of all the files it creates in the system?
