Considering that users in most cases just need to modify the model via a config file, having a CLI based on, for example, click can make using the package much easier.

I like the idea of providing a CLI as an option to modify the config as it would make driving the model from other scripts a little bit easier. Wondering if you consider this feature critical path for the paper or if I can backlog it to work on a bit later?

It's just a suggestion and not critical for the paper.

i like this. a CLI (e.g. with click) really makes running a model way easier. as your model includes the BMI, the CLI would only be an addition to the current workflow.

Triage note (v1.0.0 release review): a CLI now exists via the create_grand_parameters and bil_to_parquet console-script entry points plus 'python -m mosartwmpy.download', and the model is driven through the BMI. The original ask (a config-modifying CLI) is largely covered. Recommend closing, or narrowing to a specific remaining need if one is still wanted.
