Derivative package copyright attribution question #422

Description

@BenCaiello

Hello! I've translated some function from this package into a Python for a larger project. I have been working on my licensing attributions for my package, and was curious about what copyright to attribute for this package?

Normally repositories have a statement like "Copyright [the authors or the author's institution], 2015-2022". It even seems like it is technically even required for applying the GPL-family of licenses, but I've noticed a lot of R packages that don't have one of these statements. Do you know what I should use for CATALYST in my license notice files?
