Second the num_samples returns zero although I give the correct dataset_path, Do you have any idea why this happens?

This issue might be caused by the naming convention used in the current dataset. The FileList.csv has the names of the videos as hash, while the VolumeTracings.csv has the same names as hash + ".avi", see this line:

fileName = os.path.splitext(lineSplit[filenameIndex])[0]+".avi"

Please check if this matches the naming convention in the current dataset.

The second thing I would look into is this line:

UVT/Network/dataloader.py

keep = [(len(self.frames[os.path.splitext(f)[0]]) >= 2) and (abs(self.frames[os.path.splitext(f)[0]][0] - self.frames[os.path.splitext(f)[0]][-1]) > self.min_length) for f in self.fnames]

This is where the dataset might be completely filtered out if the conditions are not met.

Finally, running the code in a debugger and stopping it in the dataloader __init__ function to see why the dataset ends up empty might be the easiest way to understand the problem.
