Grid CT, Consumed, and production not updating...

Hello,
One day, without any action, all meter-related sensors (Consumed A, Grid CT A, Production CT A) are staying at 0 W in HA but are still updated in EMA App.
However, the Current Power (Inverter production) is still updating correctly and matches the official EMA App.

I am running the latest stable version v2.14.0 of the integration. I tried restarting Home Assistant and hard-rebooting the ECU, but the issue persists.

To investigate, I queried the ECU locally using a direct TCP socket connection on port 8899 with the standard APS1100160001END command. The raw hex response shows that the meter data section is completely filled with zeros:

This is the wrong approach, try: http://-your ECU IP-Address-/index.php/meter/old_meter_power_graph
The retrieved data is what is being used by the integration. If this input data is wrong, the output is also wrong.

I checked the URL http://192.168.1.103/index.php/meter/old_meter_power_graph as you suggested, and it does return a JSON payload. However, I am trying to understand how to read it and if the missing data is hidden inside.

Right now in Home Assistant, my solar production (Current Power) is still working perfectly. What I am completely missing since idk is the house consumption and the grid import/export data.

When looking at the JSON output from that page, I can see two main lists (power1 and power2), but everything is a bit cryptic:

Could you explain what these power1 and power2 structures actually mean? Is this where the integration usually calculates the house consumption and grid import/export?

In de JSON output (which is a history graph diagram), there are two large arrays: power1 and power2
The integration only fetches the last data of each array (most recent data):
power1 = {"time": 1779987781000, "powerA": 599, "powerB": 0, "powerC": 0}
power2 = {"time": 1779987781000, "powerA": 1014, "powerB": 0, "powerC": 0}

power1 = production_ct (only positive values because a PV system only produces power)
power2 = grid_ct (positive values draw from the grid, negative values means export to the grid)
time = unix time stamp (In your case: Thu May 28 2026 17:03:01)
powerA = phase 1
powerB = phase 2
powerC = phase 3

So for each power1, power2 there are three possible phases but only one is being used in your case (single phase installation)

Based on your data the result would be:

consumed_a = production_ct_a + grid_ct_a

• solar panels are generating 599 W
• importing 1014 W from the grid (positive = import)
• total home consumption 1613 W

But since there is data in the arrays but it is not visible via HA, I wonder if you are really on 2.14.0. Could you take a look at ecu_api.py?
I think you copied this file from the repository but did not install it using the correct version via HACS. Compare the file with this:

Above is how it should look like, correct it and restart HA. All should be fine from there.

Hi HAEdwin,

I uncommented lines 215 and 216, fixed the indentation, restarted Home Assistant and... IT WORKS PERFECTLY! 🎉

The house consumption, grid import, and export entities instantly woke up and are now displaying the correct data in real-time.

Out of curiosity, do you have any idea why these lines were commented out with a # in the codebase? Could it be a leftover from a previous debugging session or an unexpected artifact during the HACS packaging?

Anyway, thank you so much for your amazing support and for pointing me directly to the exact file and line. You saved my dashboard!

I was a bit thrown off because you mentioned being on 2.14.0 😕 The codebase had not been rolled back, but the distribution version had. The correct way to load a different version of the integration is via HACS. In HACS, click on the integration and then the hamburger menu in the top right; there you can choose redownload, and from there you can select the version. I've corrected the codebase also when discovered it was still commented out.

The two lines were commented out after APsystems had rolled out new firmware without this feature in the web interface. The web interface actually had a security issue. You completely missed the commotion about this, including in the issue list. Fortunately, APsystems noticed it and has restored the functionality 🎉
